March 21st, 2010- GOTCHA DAY!
March 18th, 2010- Leaving for Ethiopia
February 24th, 2010- Court Date! WE PASSED!!!!!
January 29th, 2010- We accept our referral
January 22nd, 2010- REFERRAL DAY!!!!!!
January 8th, 2010- Unofficially #1 on the boy's list and #8 on the girl's list
January 6th, 2010- Officially #10 on the girl's list, #3 on the boy's list and #2 on the sibling list........and, yes, this IS torture in case you were wondering.
December 2nd, 2009- Officially #13 on the girl's list, #3 on the boy's list and #3 on the sibling list
November 19th, 2009- We received our USCIS approval! We can legally bring a child into the US!!
November 3rd, 2009- Officially #15 on the girl's list, #5 on the boy's list and #4 on the sibling list
October 8th, 2009 -Officially #28 on the girl's list, #9 on the boy's list and #5 on the sibling list
September 10th, 2009 -Officially #35 on the girl's list, #11 on the boy's list and #9 on the sibling list
August 11, 2009 -Officially #43 on the girl's list, #15 on the boy's list and #11 on the sibling list
August 7th, 2009 -Officially on the Waitlist!!

*82% of the population survives on less than 1 dollar a day
*Only 24% of households have access to safe drinking water
*Between 60-150 million kids live on the streets
*Half the children in Ethiopia will never attend school; 88% will never attend secondary school
*Ethiopia’s doctor to children ratio is 1 to 24,000
*One out of every 20 children born alive die in their first month of life
*One out of ten children die before reaching their first birthday
